The Provocateurs: Mixed signals / Horror therapy
Is it me, you, or everybody else? Communication underpins everything we do and yet so often we misunderstand one another. Dr Bryony Buck (Edinburgh Napier University and University of Dundee) explores how divergent brains and bodies can make even simple communication difficult, and possible ways to address this.
Horror films can be cathartic, validating and meaningful. Can they be more helpful than counselling or therapy for dealing with anxiety, depression, grief or trauma? Trauma therapist Dr Amy Beddows (Edinburgh Napier University) and hardcore horror fan thinks so.
14+ must be accompanied by an adult.
ALL SEATING IS UNRESERVED AND LATECOMERS MAY NOT BE ADMITTED
